What’s Not Included in These Costs?
The prices on this page are for general guidance only, the cost of roof moss removal depends on the amount of moss, type of tile and crucially, access requirements.
If we need to hire extra access equipment, the project cost will be higher but will be included in the written quote supplied.
Examples of when we may need to quote for additional access equipment:
- Large conservatory over 4.5m wide blocking access to the roof above.
- Both you and a neighbour have conservatories with a combined width over 4.5m and this blocks access to the roof above (ie we can’t span over the conservatories)
- Townhouses and other unusually high buildings.
- Licences from the council to block public footpaths with scaffold etc.
- Unsually narrow areas where it’s impossible to gain access to the roof section without hiring in full scaffold or a cherry picker etc.
Note: We have access to equipment that can span over many lower obstacles such as sheds, some lower roofs, porches, some garages etc so contact us to discuss or send us clear photos and we can give you an idea of the roof moss removal cost and if we need to hire in extra equipment.
